One hour, in-home child life services appointment to help guide education on a new diagnosis or medical experience for child and/or siblings, legacy building and family bonding at the end of life, or bereavement support. Session includes a wrap-up conversation with a parent/caregiver, plan going forward and recommended resources as needed.

Hourly in-person, video, or phone sessions to support parents or caregivers to help with challenges, such as supporting siblings of an ill/injured child, fear of going to the doctor, medicine taking, separation anxiety of child from his or her caregivers, supporting a bereaved child and more.

Community Workshops
Fun, hands-on educational event for a group of children to promote positive coping with medical experiences! Consider a Teddy Bear Clinic where kids get to be “doctor for a day,” a collection of messy medical play activities at your community event or a lunch and learn workshop for your medical staff.

About Nicole
Nicole has been a Certified Child Life Specialist for the last 15 years with experience in both the hospital and community settings providing care, connection and support to children of all ages and their families. Both settings have offered a range of experience guiding children and their loved ones through moments of challenge, triumph, sometimes loss, and joy.
